Teams and projects
Work with other professionals. A team is the group you work with every day. A project is one deal, with its people, listings and chats.
Real estate is rarely a one-person job. Matchai gives you two ways to work with other people, and you can use both at once.
| Team | Project | |
|---|---|---|
| What it is | The people you work with every day, such as your brokerage team | One deal or engagement, from first visit to closing |
| How long it lasts | As long as you work together | Until the deal is done, then you archive it |
| Who is in it | Professionals | The professionals on the deal, your client, and anyone else involved, such as the notary or the inspector |
| Conversations | One chat for the whole team | A chat for your client and a chat for your team to start with, and as many more as you need, in sections |
| What it gathers | The projects the team works on, and any listings that belong to the team | The listings, teams and people on the deal |
Open Teams or Projects in the workspace menu. If you group your conversations under Messages, they sit there, beside your leads, clients and peers.
Members and roles
Teams and projects both have members, and each member has a role: owner, admin or member. The person who creates a team or a project is its owner. Owners and admins invite people and manage the space. Members take part.
A professional you add to a team or a project receives an invitation and joins when they accept. Your client, and people without a Matchai account such as a notary, are added to a project straight away. Roles and permissions explains exactly what each role can do.
